"Fronterizos" was the name given to certain "gauchos" in charge of protecting the frontiers of the "Bermejo" river from the attacks of the indians to the villagers.

Created in 1953, this is one of the most famous groups of the Argentinian folk music. They recorded more than 25 albums and made presentations all over the world thanks to the support and recognition of their public.

This is one of their latest recordings, featuring 12 tunes of Zambas, chacareras and other music genres of the South American folk. 

"Fronterizos" era el nombre que se daba a los gauchos encargados de proteger las fronteras del río Bermejo de los ataques indígenas a los aldeanos.

Creado en 1953, este es uno de los grupos más famosos del folclore argentino. Grabaron más de 25 álbumes y se presentaron en todo el mundo gracias al apoyo y reconocimiento de su público.

Esta es una de sus últimas grabaciones, que incluye 12 temas de zambas, chacareras y otros géneros musicales del folclore sudamericano.
